About Simshop

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, we opened Simshop in 2019 to serve both amatuer and professional drivers interested in improving their driving skills within a safe, cost effective simulation installation.

From Simshop’s modest beginnings to its role as Texas’ premier supplier/installer of innovative racing simulation equipment, we’ve been driven by our love for the sport of racing - both virtual and IRL.

Every racing simulator that we install is backed by our 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, and every accessory we offer is designed to work specifically with your set-up. More than entertainment, a Simshop simulation installation mimics a real driving experience, with NEW gen simulators built around REAL direct drive servo motors.

As our partners at Simagic, say: “Going from a sim cockpit to a race car cockpit” has become a common training scenario for many real racers.”

Simshop is here to make that scenario happen for you. Simshop simulators create an authentic experience - a REAL driving feel achieved by direct drive wheelbases with full metal construction.

When you want to be entertained, Simshop simulators are fully compatible with all major racing simulators/software/games on PC.

The Visionary

Simshop was founded in 2019 by Wyatt Gooden, a veteran of the racing world and a visionary in the world of remote coaching and motion-simulation as a viable, safe and cost-effective training modality for both amateur and professional drivers.

Now widely known for his expertise, Wyatt builds and tunes simulators for drivers who’ve competed at the highest levels of motorsport, including Formula 1, MotoGP, IMSA, Indycar, Nascar, and LeMans

Simshop’s clients also include Indianapolis 500 champions, World Superbike champions, and Daytona 24 Hour champions.

Wyatt's career in professional auto racing began in 2009 when he became the first driver in the U.S. to earn a manufacturer-funded ride in a professional racing series by winning the iRacing TDI Cup Virtual Series in iRacing.com.

By virtue of the scholarship he earned by winning that series, Wyatt competed in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup, where he won the Rookie of the Year title after securing two victories during the season.

Wyatt's open-wheel debut took place in 2011 at the F1600 Championship Series Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course event, where he won both races.

One month later, he was selected for the 2011 Team USA Scholarship, becoming a finalist. That same year, he competed in two more F1600 Championship Series events at Watkins Glen International, winning both races and earning the title as the #1 Ranked Formula Ford driver in 2011 by eFormulaCarNews.com.

In 2012, Wyatt competed in the F2000 Championship Series with Quantum Racing Services, finishing second in points with two wins and two poles among 12 podium finishes from 14 races.

From 2012 through 2020, Wyatt led marketing and training events for Lexus, Scion, Audi, BMW, and Cadillac, held training seminars at the largest simulated racing industry event in the US - iRace4Life, and competed in live sim racing tournaments internationally, winning the iRacing GT World championship race.

When Simshop’s schedule allows, Wyatt is a Pro Coach at the Eagles Canyon Raceway and the lead instructor at the advanced driving school. His passion for racing and his vast experience in the sport make him an excellent coach and mentor for drivers of all levels.
